These are some of the features covers I designed for The Tennessean, the principal newspaper of Nashville, Tenn., with a daily circulation of about 95,000 readers. I used Illustrator to create the original vector illustrations on the "Fantastic four", "Ms. Cheap's guide to fall" and "14 hot reads for summer" covers. The "Free. Fun. Festive." , "Ms. Cheap's summer guide to free fun" and "Luke Combs" covers are composite photo illustrations I created using Photoshop.

This is a special premium edition I design for The Tennessean exploring the exploding food scene in Nashville. The section won Best Special Section Finalist in the USA TODAY NETWORK 2nd Quarter Journalism Award while the inside double truck was a finalist in Best Alternative Story Form category.

These are some of the news and features section covers I designed for Florida Today, a newspaper serving Brevard County of Florida with a daily circulation of about 54,000. My "SpaceX grows up" and "Second term" 1A covers won 1st place for Page One Design in the 2013 Florida Society of News Editors Journalism Contest. The next year in the same contest, I won first place again in the Page One Design category for my "Bang for the military's buck?" 1A cover and I also won first place in the Feature Page Design category for my "Holiday Decor Trends" Spaces cover.

These are infographics I designed for Florida Today that ran in a series of space-related commemorative sections. The 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Space Center infographic was also a part of a special supplement in USA Today.
